With its four bedrooms with double beds and en suite bathrooms, the chalet has plenty of space for a couples’ holiday with friends. Excursions and conversations around the panoramic breakfast table are complemented by time spent together soaking up the sun on the terrace or enjoying an infusion in the chalet’s own sauna. Where nature and the mountains bring together ski enthusiasts and relaxation fans and many a happy hour is spent over a glass of wine and a piece of cheese.
Luxurious setting
Enjoy all the advantages of a private premium holiday home combined with the convenience of hotel service on 165 m² in the Chalet Goldbergspitze. A cosy getaway for two will make you just as happy here as sociable hours with other couples in a peaceful setting, surrounded by nature and sporting activities.

Cosy hours in aesthetically pleasing ambience, with a crackling open fire or a sunset over a picturesque mountain backdrop – the romantic atmosphere is all-inclusive here. There’s a reason that holidays are considered the best part of the year. All the more marvellous if you spend it in loving togetherness. If you end an exciting day with an evening together in the hanging seat, you are sure to find the right words to turn great feelings into everlasting memories.

Chalet Goldbergspitze invites you to relax in its own wellness area with sun loungers, sun terrace and sauna, as well as a sunbathing lawn by the large swimming pond/nature pool and seasonal yoga classes in the main building of the chalet village. There is also a fitness room and a restaurant* with bar and café (please note opening times). You can book a convenient bread roll and shopping service** at reception or via your chalet’s own tablet and have freshly baked goods or the ingredients for your anniversary dinner delivered to your chalet every day.
*Currently closed due to change of operator. Please note the opening hours.
**Simply settle costs for additional services and packages at reception.

Swap your hiking gear for a wedding dress and take the plunge into a sunny future together. Your wedding ceremony will take place in the small chapel in the chalet village or in the open air against a dreamlike backdrop. Large rooms are available in the main building for celebrations and additional chalets in the chalet village can be rented to accommodate your guests. Together with local partners such as florists and musicians, you can create your own personal mountain festival of emotions.
A few steps to happiness
If you prefer to switch off while on holiday and leave the car at home, the chalet village is the perfect place for you: The swimming pond, sunbathing lawn, ski practice lift and stunning hiking trails are all within walking distance of Chalet Goldbergspitze. In the main building you will find a fitness and yoga room (seasonal) as well as a restaurant* with bar and café (please note opening times). A ski bus takes you directly from reception to fun on the slopes and the public bus also takes you to the cable car in summer.

A region to fall in love with – in winter or summer

Time together can be so varied! In the winter months you can experience our picturesque mountain world in its white splendour. Snowboarding, skiing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing release all kinds of happiness hormones, after which you can relax in the sauna or in front of the open fire. Those who prefer a quieter experience can try snowshoeing or enjoy a cosy ride in a horse-drawn sleigh. If you fancy a spa day, we recommend the Schloss Spa in Schloss Mittersill (please check the seasonal opening times in advance) or the large Tauern Spa in Zell am See/Kaprun.

There are few more romantic moments in a relationship than standing side-by-side at the summit cross, enjoying the fantastic view and acknowledging how far you have come together. You can take a relaxed ride up in the cable car – free of charge in summer with the National Park Summer Card, which we give you with every booking! – or conquer the summit together on foot. For action enthusiasts, there are many other adventures to be had on the mountain such as mountain biking, rafting, canyoning and paragliding. Book a Segway tour, climb on the high ropes course or practise your archery – whatever your heart desires. A summer holiday with us will be an experience to remember.

Directions
From Kitzbühel, take the B161 southbound to Mittersill. Here you follow the B165 Gerlospass / Krimml (first exit at the roundabout) in the direction of Neukirchen am Großvenediger. As soon as you have left Neukirchen behind you, please note that some satnavs misdirect you here by leading you from the north via a road that is often closed with a barrier (this is a dead end that, just before you reach your destination, forces you to return all the way back to the main road). So it’s better to approach the chalet village from the south: Shortly after the little wood on the right-hand side, you will see the green “Nationalpark Chalets” signs on the right-hand side of the road. Turn right here and follow the signs uphill. The first thing you see in the chalet village is the building with the lounge and reception.
If you come via Gerlos Pass, turn left onto the B165. The exit to the chalet village is about 150 metres after the Gasthof Venedigerblick. On the left-hand side of the road you will see the green “Nationalpark Chalets” sign.
