Directions

From Kitzbühel, take the B161 southbound to Mittersill. Here you follow the B165 Gerlospass / Krimml (first exit at the roundabout) in the direction of Neukirchen am Großvenediger. As soon as you have left Neukirchen behind you, please note that some satnavs misdirect you here by leading you from the north via a road that is often closed with a barrier (this is a dead end that, just before you reach your destination, forces you to return all the way back to the main road). So it’s better to approach the chalet village from the south: Shortly after the little wood on the right-hand side, you will see the green “Nationalpark Chalets” signs on the right-hand side of the road. Turn right here and follow the signs uphill. The first thing you see in the chalet village is the building with the lounge and reception.

If you come via Gerlos Pass, turn left onto the B165. The exit to the chalet village is about 150 metres after the Gasthof Venedigerblick. On the left-hand side of the road you will see the green “Nationalpark Chalets” sign.

Wow, we’ve stayed in a lot of chalets.

But this chalet is simply a dream come true!

View, equipment, furnishings, location, layout, service, everything on the outside!

We’ll be back!

Amazing View! Perfectly equipped! Lovely House! We will come back! Very friendly and helpful crew!

Especially the small details like wooden floors in all sleeping rooms, each sleeping room with its own bathroom, a glass balcony, the furniture and decoration and so on made it a perfect stay for us!

In the village the location of the house is one of the best! It has very short distance to the pool an reception and perfect view. We will book again because this house has more distance to other neighbours and you feel free – compared to others in the village. Thanks for that great stay!

Everything is excellent. Great to see what’s changed since last year. But even last year we really enjoyed it very much. Great facilities and location, and because we could see the mountains from the rooms even in rainy weather. 🙂 Now with the new furniture, décor, extension, patio furniture, etc., we like it even more. Keep up the great work!

The restaurant is highly recommended! Super tasty, beautifully decorated and lovely atmosphere.

Neukirchen am Großvenediger

Neukirchen am Großvenediger lies at the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The centuries-old, beautifully preserved town has received several awards. Austria’s Neukirchen and the idyllically situated chalet village with its fantastic mountain backdrop offer holiday comfort, sporting facilities and a varied cultural programme.

The Wildkogel Arena ski fields

The chalet village is located right on one of the valley descents of Wildkogel Arena’s family-friendly ski fields in the Austrian state of Salzburg. Its 75 kilometres of perfectly prepared ski runs with guaranteed snow offer an unforgettable adventure for beginners and advanced skiers from mid-December until after Easter. The ski fields of Kitzbühel and Zillertal are popular destinations to visit by car.

Hohe Tauern e-bike tours

Even in summer, the mountains offer excellent opportunities for other sporting activities in addition to hiking. If you can’t bring your own bike, you can hire an e-bike. Everyone can decide for themselves what gradients and distances they want to cover. E-bikes can also be arranged at the chalet village reception.
